Happy Birthday, Monsignor!

August, 23 - The Ban Garicoits community hosted the 87th birthday celebration of the Bishop Emeritus Joseph Sangval, former Bishop of the Chiang Mai Diocese, to express the gratitude of the Congregation.
This was an opportunity for the people coming from the north and working in Bangkok to gather together. Seminarians and sisters from different congregations were also present; all together around 200 people.
The Bishop presided over the Eucharistic Celebration. A fraternal lunch followed based on traditional food of the northern Thailand.
A few days later, on August 29, Fr Tavat Singsa, a Diocesan priest, led a monthly retreat and shared the experience of his mission carried out in the context of Nakornsawan Diocese.
