Jordan - Zarqa
This year, the Parish community of the 12 Apostles of Zarqa (Jordan) could see reflected in the face of the Child Jesus, the face of many Syrian refugee children who found a shelter in the premises of the Parish for a seven-month-long academic year.
Recently, the Italian Episcopal Conference television network "TV 2000", has broadcast a short programme to describe the situation of the Syrian refugees and, in particular, the work carried out by the Parish of the 12 Apostle (entrusted to the Betharramite religious), in cooperation with the Polish Caritas, towards the Syrian chikdren.
In the Parish school premises 104 Syrian refugee children could attend regular classes from Monday to Friday, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
