Concert in Pau in honor of the Blessed Mariam, given by the choir "Yanbu Mahabeh"

On June 1, feast of the Blessed Mariam, an evening concert was given at the Church of St. Martin in Pau.
The choir "Yanbu Mahabeh" (Fountain of Love), accompanied by his chaplain, Father Elie Kurzum SCJ (Parish Priest of Zarka) was invited to give a concert in the context of the Jubilee Year of Saint Michael Garicoïts.
The same morning, this ensemble consisting of 60 singers and musicians, had animated the Mass in honor of the "little Mariam" with the "Little St. Michael's Choir" of Pau.
The program of the concert: Byzantine and Arabic music, but also some western pieces, all masterfully and perfectly played by the choir, the soloists, and instrumentalists, directed by a charismatic conductor. These young musicians produced a rendering full of new and fascinating sounds.
The next day, the band performed in the church of St. Bernadette at Lourdes; on Monday, June 3 at the Cathedral of Bayonne. On June 4, the choir was back at Betharram. After  a  French-Arabic repertoire during a Mass in the Shrine of Notre-Dame, they joined the students of the College for an informal meeting. In the evening, a prayer of thanksgiving in the "Saint Michael" community of Pau and a farewell dinner with their host families brought to an end this memorable  experience.
