Br George Mathew Korandakkatte was ordained a priest.
On May 8, as a preparation for the Jubilee celebrations in honor of St. Michael Garicoits, Br George Mathew Korandakkatte was ordained a priest in the Church of St. George, in his hometown, Mavumchal-Alakode-Canannur in Kerala.
The celebration was conducted following the Syro-Malabar Rite, as one can see from the liturgical vestments of both the bishop of Tellichery, Mons George Valiamatan, and George along with the other brothers. This celebration was an ecclesial event for the community, where George was born and brought up.
We wish Fr George to conform more and more his life to Christ, the High Priest, and to carry out a fruitful ministry in the community of the People of God.
