Beginning of the new academic year at the Major Seminary of St. Paul - Abadjin Kouté

This event was marked by the Eucharistic celebration which officially inaugurated the new year. The team of formators (priests and laity), seminarians of the philosophy course (first and second year), a group of friends of the seminary, nuns of various religious congregations and other invited guests took part in this celebration presided over by Mons Dacoury Tabley, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Grand- Bassam. In his homily, he urged the seminarians to strengthen their faith in order to discern more clearly the action of God in their lives. At the end of the Eucharist, the entire congregation was invited to share a convivial moment over a drink.
The Betharramite postulants attending the first year of philosophy (Peter and Patrice) and the second year’s (Landry , Christian , Serge, Arnaud and Jean-Joseph) in this institution, were also present with their Master, Fr Sylvain Dansou, Superior of the formation house of Adiapodoume. Fr Sylvain will be a philosophy professor in this Seminary in this Academic Year.
We wish all of them a fruitful academic year!
