Annual meeting of the Betharramite Lay Association in Adrogué
From November 1 to 3, the Betharramite Lay Association held the annual meeting in Villa Betharram, Adrogué. Lay people from almost all communities, along with Fathers Gustavo Agin (Regional Superior), Paco and Giancarlo attended the meeting.
They reflected on the Betharramite spirituality from a lay perspective. Time for personal refection was followed by group sharing.
At the end of the meeting a sign was given to all the participants:... a hand that leads from the heart of Jesus to the heart of the world.
It was a meaningful experience of fraternity among families.
Children played a key in the meeting... they experienced what is the meaning of being a family… they could see their parents share, pray, serve... and in turn they could co-operate, pray, sing... They knew each other more and more and they learnt how to share as brothers... every year they grow in age and in number...
Betharram is a family!

Over the first weekend of November, I had the opportunity to attend, with my family , this family meeting of the Betharramite Laity: as always, it met my expectations. I feel that I do not come here just to recharge my spirit... but to learn and discover many things... This year, in a special way, thanks to the talk given by Fr Gustavo Agin, I was able to strengthen my belonging to Betharram and my awareness that the carism of Saint Michael is my model.
I also had the opportunity to know new people and see again other families I had already met before. It was easy to share with all about many things: the need to have this spiritual haven, to learn, to be a missionary, to meet other people, to share, to grow in faith, to be more faithful betharramites, etc Falabe, thank you for being there!

I feel at home with friends. This is the reason urging me to attend this retreat every year.
Being able to meet a brother and share with him: this strengthens our faith in the family and allows us to live as children of the same Father. Being in communion, holding hands in a fraternal embrace which heals us and makes us one in the Heart of Jesus. This is the Falabe, a place where I can stand barefoot , sharing my life in the name of God.
