Thailand - Sampran

On 5th December, we, the community of Sampran (Ban Garicoits and Ban Betharram ) celebrated the Fathers day. We began our program with the Eucharistic, and then we held a ceremony to give honor to fathers by pouring water on their hand according to the Thai culture.

For the mornings program, it was a time of sharing our spirituality, our founders story and our Mother of Betharram.
Then, in the evening, there was a time of playing games together to enhance our friendship, and we ended our day with dinner and some cultural programs.

On 17th December 2012, we the Garicoits community, held a Christmas celebration at Ban Garicoits. For this joyful event, some friends joined in our celebration.
This memorable time began with the Holy Eucharist, then we had dinner together and we shared some gifts with all our friends.

On 20th December 2012, we, the Garicoits community congratulated the Emeritus Bishop Joseph Sangval Surasarang on his Golden Jubilee of priesthood. He is the former bishop of Chiang Mai diocese and he gave his strong support to the Betharram Community. We prayed for him and we were very glad to invite him for dinner. We always are grateful to him for his support.
