Thailand - Ratchaburi
On November 21st after paying a visit to the communities in Chieng Mai, Fr. Austin, Regional Superior together with Fr.Biju, Superior of the Indian Vicariate, visited the formation house at Sampran. They spent a few days and met some brothers personally.
The next day, guided by Fr. Jiraphat who is in charge of the new mission in Ratchaburi Diocese (Fatima Parish or Huayklum), they spent some time with the Bishop, Mons John Bosco Panya Krichareon and his vicar general, Fr. Phaiyong. They discussed about the mission which has been entrusted to Betharram community. This meeting was successful and gave hope and courage.
Then, they went to meet the Fatima parish priest, Fr. Peter Suthep Pupha; he welcomed and offered the Betharram Fathers a lavish lunch at a local restaurant. Then they met Bro. Thinakorn who assists the parish Priest there and could see the zeal of his apostolic life and the service towards the people. Let us pray for this new mission, that it may grow and flourish.
