11th January The two General councillors (Fr Laurent Bacho and Fr Tobia Sosio) and the Regional superiors (Fr Jean-Luc Morin and Fr Gustavo Agin; Fr Austin Hughes, held back in England for family reasons will join the Council on January 13) have just arrived in Rome to begin the first Council of the Congregation after the General chapter held in Bethlehem in 2011.

The issues on the agenda: examine the general state of the Congregation and draw up, under the guidance of the Superior general Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez, a project aimed at implementing the decisions of the General chapter.<br />The Regional bursars will also join the Council of the Congregation on January 19-21. On that occasion the decisions of the General chapter on the economy of communion will be tackled in order to work out some guidelines for the next six years.<br /><br />
