Feast of Our Lady of Bétharram

July, 28 - Feast of Our Lady of Betharram and centenary of the coronation of the Virgin Mary and Jesus. Pope St Pius X was very attached to Our Lady of Betharram so much so that he offered her two magnificent golden crowns, ressembling woven branches.

Feast of Our Lady of Bétharram
This offering was accompanied by an inscription: “May the Son and his Mother accept our gifts and by appeasing our hopes and desires may they keep for us one day the crown of glory which none can tarnish”.
