Vietnam - Vinh and Thanh Hoa
On October 18 in Vinh, and on October 20 and 21 in Thanh Hoa, the Fathers Jiraphat Raksikhao and Jean-Luc Morin met with some pre-seminarians and some religious sisters of the two towns in northern Vietnam.
After a slide presentation on St. Michael Garicoits, his message and his religious family, they answered questions raised by an attentive audience in a relaxed atmosphere. They could rely on qualified interpreters, among them, a superior of the pre-seminary, a committed layman... and the bishop of Thanh Hoa himself, Mons Joseph Chi Linh (who by the way is the Superior of the local congregation called Lovers of the Cross). Quite a few opportunities to spread the message of Bétharram and pave the way for its future, in two very lively dioceses where the religious life for men religious is not (yet) represented.<br /><br />
