Uruguay - Montevideo
Betharram in Uruguay is celebrating 150 years of presence in the country since the arrival of Father Jean-Baptiste Harbustan, on March 1st 1861.
Today, the Montevideo community keeps the youth of the Gospel in the person of two Uruguayans: Fr Enrique Gavel and Fr Jose Maria Ruiz, and a French Brother from Bearn: Henry Cha. They are respectively 70, 80 and 90 years old; all together, they reach 240 years of love to Christ, to the Church and to the Congregation. May their testimony be ferment of new vocations.
