On the evening of May 1st, our (very) special reporter in Saint Peter square has brought these photos of a great Church event.
Pope John Paul II was beatified by his successor, Benedict XVI, on Mercy Sunday and in presence of more than one million faithful (homily). Mgr Robert Sarrabère, Bishop Emeritus of Aire and Dax, was staying in via Brunetti for the occasion; he gave us these pictures, and also good periods of sharing. During the Eucharistic celebration and before the body of the Blessed, the intentions of the Congregation have been presented by our Betharramite brothers who were present.
