On February 14th 2002, a missionary group, called Arcobaleno (Rainbow) was set up in the Parish of Vanza, Trambileno (Trento), to support the projects our missionaries in Central Africa.
This is how Paola - the inspirational and instrumental person behind this group - wishing to keep alive the memory of her father who had died just a few days before, describes the first steps of Arcobaleno [Rainbow] : «After a friendly approach with Emilia [niece of Fr Arialdo, a betharramite missionary], who had just returned from the Central African Republic, we started contacting the Betharram Fathers. Guided by the divine Providence, we took the first step by sponsoring a scholarship, and then we got more and more involved in many of their projects in Central African Republic. Why call the group Rainbow? Because with its colours embraces all the peoples ... because we want to give colours to those who suffer ... because the rainbow is a bridge linking distant and different cultures and fosters a fraternal attitude.
In this ninth anniversary of foundation, the group wants to share with you this images.
