Italy - Lissone

Thursday, June 9th solemn concelebration in the Parish Church of the Sacred Heart in Lissone, presided by Fr Gaspar Fernandez, Superior general, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the Parish.

A journeying community: this is the motto of the celebrations. This is how Fr Graziano Sala, the outgoing Regional Superior, expresses the meaning of this anniversary: Many good memories and people come to mind when we celebrate such an important anniversary. People who, with enthusiasm, built a structure on which they lavished all their energies in order to shape a community. These people left us a heritage to accept and hand down to future generations. Our wishes and prayers for all the parishioners that they keep this heritage alive!
