Italy - Pozzaglia Sabina
On Monday, December 12th, the Community of Monteporzio gathered in Pozzaglia Sabina (Rieti) for a recollection as a preparation for Christmas.
The Parish Priest of Pozzaglia, Fr Carlo Ruti, scj, welcomed with joy the community of Monteporzio and some brothers from the Rome communities, for a recollection, led by Fr Mario Longoni scj. The theme was the joy in Saint Michael, a joy sought after, experienced as a gift and shared. Pozzaglia is the native place of Saint Agostina Pietrantoni (1864-1894) and this gave the opportunity to pay a visit to the Parish Church which harbours some relics of hers.
At the end of the recollection, Fr Ermanno Rasero, scj, Parish Priest of Montorio in Valle (a hamlet belonging to Pozzaglia municipality) showed his brothers round the Parish Church and helped them to enjoy the splendid frescoes. A day characterised by joy, fraternity and art. Heartfelt thanks to Fr Carlo and Fr Ermanno for their hospitality!
