Italy - Bitonto
Sunday, October 30, in the presence of Mons Francesco Cacucci, Archbishop of the Diocese of Bari - Bitonto and many diocesan priests and religious, with the closing the Betharramite community of Bitonto, the presence of Betharram in this Diocese of South Italy came to an end after 23 year.
Greetings and heartfelt thanks from the Archbishop, for the long-term presence in the diocese, were followed by a thanksgiving speech given by the Regional Vicar for Italy, P. Aldo Nespoli, who spoke on behalf of the fathers who served over the years in the parishes of Mariotto and of Bitonto.<br />The fathers expressed their sincere gratitude for the welcome they received to this church in 1988, for the journey done together and the meaningful pastoral experiences, for the warm atmosphere of brotherhood that the Archbishop and the community of parish priests managed to convey to our communities .<br /><br />
