On June 12, Bros. Shamon and Reegan, started their novitiate in Shobhana Shaakha (for 2011-2012, there will not be Thai novices since their Superiors decided to send them after completing philosophy).

Fr. Biju Alappat, Indian Vicar, presented Bros. Shamon and Reegan to Fr Chan Kunu, regional novice master, during the evening prayer on the Feast of the Pentecost. Now they are having retreat to enter into their canonical year on coming Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus under the guidance of Fr. Stervin at our own community.
They have attended a common novitiate programme in Carmelaram on 14th of June on the Inauguration Day, with around 55 participants from different male and female congregations. There were talk from the chief guest Fr. Vaguese CMI, prayer dance, ice-breaking in order to get to know each other better and cultural programmes, etc.
