Brazil - Belo Horizonte
After their first vows in December and some holidays at home, the newly professed members from the Etchecopar Region joined the community of the regional seminary on January 15th.
Since theology courses had not started yet, Br Alcides (PY), Br Charles (BR) and Br Juan Pablo (AR) took the opportunity to visit Belo Horizonte, especially the Museum of Arts and Trades and Pampulha Lagoon. The first exhibits some working tools from the XVIII-XX century, the second shows some masterpieces by the great Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, in particular the Church of St. Francis of Assisi decorated with ceramics and paintings by Candido Portinari; not far away they admired a sculpture by Jose Pedrosa.
Then they gathered with the third years seminarians who ended their spiritual exercises, and together they went to the Itanhaém beach for a few days of relaxation. They filled themselves with energy and experience of fraternal life, before the beginning of new academic year, on February 2nd.
