Betharram - Holy Saturday

Lord, you love those whom you call;
And those whom you love more are those who have to suffer more:
Then they look more like Jesus Christ,
suffering Servant.

And sorrow like a sharp sword pierced Mary’s heart (cf. Lc 2, 35).
My Lord, teach us to be courageous and joyful, even when we suffer;
Let us accept to follow the same way as Jesus Christ,
may the example of Mary support us.
