Argentina - Nueva Esperanza
Father Francisco (Paco) Daleoso, from the community of Nueva Esperanza, once again goes over the Mission of last January in a detailed and lively report.
It emphasizes the unusual way of conducting the mission. On the one hand it is lived in community composed by old and young, beginners and experienced missionaries, lay and religious, and among them Argentines, Brazilians and Paraguayans. On the other hand, the missionary community grows through prayer, training time, manual tasks, difficulties, a Spartan way of life. Finally, the mission is carried out through home visits, personal meetings, gatherings, festive celebrations and kerygmatic retreats ... The residing community of the religious missionaries (three Fathers of Nueva Esperanza) ensure the smooth running of this summer mission of 15 days.
"For over 25 years, wrote Fr. Paco, Betharram has been spending the summer holidays by changing activities, as Fr. Garicoits did. (...) Community in mission with its own style: Here I am, Lord, out of love more than for any other reason, where others do not want to go, in communion with the Church, with saints and sinners, Betharramite Family ! Community that really wants to share with others - especially the poor - the joy of being children of the same Father ". The rest can be read in Spanish or in French.
