Argentina - Buenos Aires

It was held in Room Morales RP where the students of 6 and 7 grade with their teachers, apart from listening and watching  the NASA specialists, including  Argentina's  Laura   Midulla, they could also ask questions and share an enriching  experience with other schools. In the previous days, the students took a close look at the mission Aquarius / SAC-D and prepared some questions guided by the teachers of English as the videoconference was in that language.?This mission is carried on by NASA and CONAE (National Space Activities Commission) with the participation of other countries like Canada, Brazil, Italy and France. The main objective is to measure the salinity of the oceans of planet Earth in order to study the complex process of climate change.?The satellite is also equipped with 7 instruments, 5 of which were developed in Argentina and the other two were provided by the Italian Space Agency and the French Space Agency.
