England - Olton

On the 7th of May at Olton Friary, the Companions of Betharram in England along with the Fathers and Brothers of Betharram celebrated the anticipated feast day of St. Micahel Garicoits.

The day commenced with a shared lunch, followed by a Eucharistic celebration in honor of our Founder St. Michael Garicoits. The Eucharistic celebration was celebrated by Fr. Austin Hughes SCJ . In the beginning of the celebration he shared with us an important saying of St. Michael Garicoits, when St. Michael says to us that God is not looking at our faults always and He is not trying to catch us out all the time as a judge, instead our God is trying to win our hearts with His infinite Love. The anticipated feast of our founders day brought a lot of joy and happiness to the group and it was a wonderful afternoon that God has given to us to rejoice with him in the honor of our founder St. Michael Garicoits.
