England - Birmingham
On May 21st at 12.30 a.m., 30 children from the Holy Name parish school made their first communion.
The church was not large enough to receive 700 people come to surround the first-communicants and take part in the Mass. As wrote the celebrant, Fr Mongkhon, the crowd was impressive, as well as the fervor and the calm of the children: "they looked like angels ...May God bless these families, and bless the mission of the community." Currently, three Betharramites care for the parish of Birmingham: Br. Gerard (absent due to his participation in the General Chapter of Bethlehem), Br. John and Fr. Mongkhon, from the Vicariate of Thailand. No doubt, the Holy Spirit will let them have many more joys in their apostolate.
