3rd Regional Meeting of Community Superiors
From 16 to 19 of July, in the San Miguel College of Passa Quatro, the Superiors of the Communities of the Region Ven. Fr Auguste Etchécopar held the third session of formation.
The meeting was prepared by a group of religious composed of Fr. Francisco Daleoso SCJ (from the Vicariate of Argentina-Uruguay), Fr. Raúl Villalba SCJ (from the Vicariate of Paraguay) and Fr. Wagner Ferreira SCJ (from the Vicariate of Brazil ) and chaired by Fr. Djalma, Verbita.
In addition to the community superiors, the members of the Regional Council also took part in the meeting.
Three topics were addressed:
- To take a look in love on our communities;
- To be sensitive to what reality tells us;
- To obey with love to the indications offered by this reality.
All this had a starting point from a talk that was then shared in work groups in order to identify some priorities at the end of the meeting.
In each of these issues, the focal point was the role of the Superior of the community: what do the religious expect from the Superior? What can the Superior give to the community? What does the Superior himself expect from his community?
The evaluation of the meeting was very positive and everyone sincerely thanked both the resource person of the meeting and the group that prepared the meeting very carefully.
