Moments of life in the San José Parish of Asunción
On March 19, the San José Parish of Asunción solemnly celebrated the Patron of the Congregation and the Parish.
The feast began with a procession through the streets adjacent to the Parish with the statue of St. Joseph which ended in the Church, where the Eucharistic concelebration took place, presided over by Mgr. Ignacio Gogorza SCJ, Betharramite Bishop emeritus of Encarnación and concelebrated by Osvaldo Caniza SCJ (parish priest) and the priest Jorge Centurión. The celebration, animated by the choir of the "FVD Group", was attended by numerous groups of former students of the San José College, as well as a large number of faithful from the parish.
On Sunday, April 2, the celebration of Palm Sunday took place, which began with the blessing of the palm trees in the courtyard of the San José College and continued with the procession. Once in the Parish Church the Holy Mass was held, which was attended by many faithful. The Mass was animated by the choir of the community of the Neocatechumenal Way which is present in the San José Parish.
