In Betharramite mission places
Chiang Mai June 25 - Sunday was spent outside the Jesuit center "The Seven Fountains", the place that hosts our Chapter. The capitulars lived a relaxing day: they went out to meet the brothers and in the Betharramite mission places.
This day was lived as a pilgrimage in the footsteps of the first missionaries in Thailand.
Everywhere we received a very warm welcome.
We experienced a moment of communion with the Christian community of Maepon, visited the mission center built in 1954 by Fathers Séguinotte and Fognini. We visited the Mountain Inthanon, King Rama 9 Pagoda and Queen Pagoda.
On the way to Chomthong there was no shortage of time to visit the beautiful Wachirathan Falls.
The group was later welcomed by the Parish of St. Michael Garicoïts of Chomthong.
Finally, the visit to the "Betharram Foundation" property, with the presentation of its history, concluded the day. But not before having eaten a tasty dinner.
All this was experienced in an atmosphere of conviviality and relaxation.
Thus, with hearts full of joy and gratitude, the capitulars returned to the center "The Seven Fountains”.
Forward, always
