Fr Gustavo goes back to school
10 May - The community of Olton Friary had the honour and the joy of welcoming Fr. Gustavo Agìn, Superior General, during four weeks. The stated purpose of his stay was to deepen his knowledge of the English language, which is an important element for permanent formation in an international congregation.
The unanimous verdict of the religious of the vicariate and the two teachers who accompanied him in this commitment is unanimous: mission accomplished!
The teachers stressed his humility and her commitment to attending classes and in doing his home work. Fr. Gustavo was put to the test on the last day of his stay in England, when he attended the togetherness day (community day) in Shallowford, a retreat house where the religious of the vicariate hold regular meetings. In this meeting, Fr. Jonathan Cotton, of the diocese of Nottingham, led the reflection based on three paintings by Yvonne Bell, a contemporary Christian artist.
Thank you Fr. Gustavo for your testimony! May your example inspire particularly our young people in formation!
