Visit to Anglet, Bayonne, Mendelu and Loyola
On 15, 16 and 17 July, the participants in the ongoing International Session in Bétharram, accompanied by Fr. Stervin Selvadass, Fr. Chan Kunu and Fr. Gaspar Fernández Pérez, went to Lower Navarre.
With enthusiasm and joy, they visited the community of the Servants of Mary and the Bernadine convent in Anglet. In these places, the Superior made them aware of the life and role that the Blessed Father Cestac (former companion of Saint Michael Garicoits) had in the foundation of their Congregation.
A note: the visit of the professed coincided with the visit of the Sisters Servants of Mary of Indian origin and their General Council. It was a moment of fraternal sharing.
The following day (16 July) the group visited Loyola where, after a session of formation, they celebrated the Eucharist in the chapel.
Finally, on Sunday morning (17 July), after the morning prayer, all the religious went to the castle, where Saint Francis Xavier was born.
At the end of the day the group returned to Betharram.
