Christmas Celebration for the HIV-positive children at Bouar
Bouar December 23 - In spite of the war and the grave turmoil , the religious of the community of the "St. Michel” Centre of Bouar (Central African Republic) carry on with their tireless service. They also had the opportunity to organize a Christmas celebration for HIV-positive children.
Br Angelo Sala SCJ, superior and religious-in-charge of the centre, has just sent in this message: "I am sending the pictures of the party that we organized at the St. Michel Centre for our HIV-positive children for Christmas.
The situation in Central African Republic, despite the arrival of the French contingent, is still difficult: clashes between Muslims and anti-Balaka troops in Bangui and in other prefectures do not seem to subside; at Bouar the situation is still quiet but we do not know for how long.
I wish you a Merry Christmas."
In this Nativity of the Lord let’s continue to ask for the gift of peace for the Central African Republic!
