On February 2, the Church celebrated the Feast of the "Presentation of Jesus in the Temple” and the 25th World Day of Consecrated Life. The Bishop of the Diocese of Bouar, Mgr Mirosław Gucwa, celebrated the event with the religious of the Diocese in the convent of the Sisters of St Clare. The religious of the Betharramite communities present in Bouar also joined in this celebration.

February 2, the feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple, the feast of Light and the World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life was an opportunity for the religious communities of the “Plain of Nay” to gather together in the religious house of the community of the "Beatitudes", for a session of prayer and sharing.

On Saturday, October 16, in the Sacred Heart Cathedral of Chiang Mai (Thailand), our deacons James Thanit Panmanikun scj and Peter Rawee Permpoonwicha scj were ordained priests by Mgr Francis Xavier Vira Armpondratana, Bishop of the Diocese of Chiang Mai.

Monday, December 8 - The aspirants of the community St. Michael Garicoits, Bouar, Central African Republic, held a day of recollection on the theme: "How can I live the Advent today?".

June 12: We began the day of recollection with the celebration of the Eucharist. At 8:30 a.m., the session opens with the first lecture. Father Miguel Garaizábal sj, Superior of the Jesuits in Thailand and friend of Betharram introduced us to the synodal experience of the Church with reference to the texts of Pope Francis.

Monday, December 15th, the religious of the Vicariate of the Central African Republic (the communities of Niem, Bouar "Our Lady of Fatima" and St. Michael) had a day of recollection in the community of St. Laurent, the Capuchin Friars, at Bouar.

On the 16 – 17 March the English Vicariate once again gathered at the Marist Retreat Centre at Nympsfield for their together day.

On 18th and 19th of February we gathered together for our togetherness day at Nympsfield.

Despite being struck by and hindered in its activities by the Covid-19 pandemic; despite being shocked by the death of Mrs. Henriette N’Guessan (a recently deceased Betharramite laywoman); despite being worried about and affected by the recent post-electoral crises (in the Ivory Coast), the fraternity of the Betharramite lay associates, with their gaze turned firmly to the Lord, have finally restarted their meetings and relaunched their activities on the 12th December in the community of Adiapodoumé.

On August 10th , the betharramite missionary community of Sabará held a recollection at the Capuchins’ religious house for 60 young people.
