On January 12th and 13th the Betharramite family in Thailand lived some days of celebration for two new professions and the priestly ordination of two of our confreres.

We have received this pieces of news from the Mangalore Community. It was indeed a joyous and sad moment for our community on 22nd of July, as we gave farewell to Fr. Biju Antony SCJ who served the community for eight years. The Thanksgiving Day was made meaningful as Fr. Biju Antony presided over the Eucharist along with other fathers.

From June 16, Betharram welcomes a group of young people from Italy, Paraguay, Ivory Coast... to meet their need of spiritual renewal at the feet of Our Lady of the Beautiful Branch.

On the days 10-11-12 July, the participants of the international session, accompanied by their formators, went on a long pilgrimage to discover some places where St. Michael Garicoits and St. Ignatius of Loyola lived some important events of their life.

On 7-8 January 2015, the Thai Vicariate met  with the Bishop Francis Xavier Veera, at Ban Betharram, Chiang Mai.

Sunday, November 22, Solemnity of Christ the King, Fr Davi Lara SCJ returned to the community of Mendelu.

On 23 March, the Vocation Promotion Team of the Vicariate of Brazil organized a virtual panel discussion aimed at adult individuals engaged in vocational research who would like to get to know Bétharram and our spirituality.

On march 2, the the Sampran community and the Thai Vicariate rolled out a warm and cordial welcome to our new community member, Rev Fr Valan Peter SCJ member of the Indian vicariate.

Last March, the community of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) welcomed Fr Luke Kriangsak Kitsakunwong SCJ, Master of Scholastics in Sampran (Thailand).

Monday, September 19, the community of via Brunetti welcomed Mons Aloysius D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore, along with one of his collaborators, Fr Wilson.
