On September 24th in the English Vicariate a sponsored walk was organized to raise funds for the scj missions.

On October 15th  the  Project Anawim, based on the Parish of Saints John & Martin in Balsall Heath (Birmingham) celebrated the Silver Jubilee.

On Friday, November 25th  the Parish community of Saint John the Evangelist and Saint Martin de Porres  celebrated the 80th birthday of Fr Dominic Innamorati scj.

On 3rd  December the Christmas Fayre the Ss John and Martin’s Parish, run by the Betharramite Community, held the Christmas Fayre.

On the feast of the Sacred Heart we celebrated the Golden Jubilee of Father Tom Kelly with a solemn Mass of Thanksgiving in the beautiful mosaic church of the Sacred Heart hosted and served by the parish of Droitwich.

Mr. James Kelly, brother of Fr Tom Kelly, SCJ, Parish Priest of the Sacred Heart Parish in Droitwich, died in Ireland on December 1, 2011, at 87 years of age.

Wednesday, November 9, Albavilla, at the Missionary Cooperation Centre of the Vicariate of Italy, Fr Piero Trameri (Director of the Centre) and Bro Severino Urbani, with the collaboration of various lay people gave the final touches to the container which will be shipped to our communities in Central African Republic.

On Tuesday November 29th the Italian Vicariate gathered for an Assembly in Albiate (Milan).

On Friday December 9 the Council of the Italian Vicariate gathered in Albiate.

The Mission Cooperation Centre of the Italian Vicariate has prepared a “Mission Diary” for the Year 2012.
