11th January – The two General councillors (Fr Laurent Bacho and Fr Tobia Sosio) and the Regional superiors (Fr Jean-Luc Morin and Fr Gustavo Agin; Fr Austin Hughes, held back in England for family reasons  will join the Council on January 13) have just arrived in Rome to begin the first Council of the Congregation after the General chapter held in Bethlehem in 2011.

On January 12th, the members of the Council of the Congregation paid a visit to the Prefect of the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, the newly appointed Cardinal H.E.Mgr João Bráz de Aviz and to the Secretary of the same Congregation, Mgr Joseph William Tobin.

On September 3rd, at St Bernard's parish of Adiapodoumé, Br. Christian was ordained a priest by the laying on of hands of Mgr. Bruno Yedoh, Bishop of Bondoukou.

On 17th of March, SCJ community along with Parishioners at Our Lady and St Patrick’s, Meadows celebrated the Feast day of St. Patrick. The Civic dignitaries were invited to the feast. The Lord Mayor of Nottingham, Councillor David Trimble and The Sheriff of Nottingham Councillor Merlita Bryan were present.

The “Notre-Dame” community of Betharram welcomed from 1 July the extraordinary novitiate of the Vicariate, Bros Toussaint, Éric, Constant, Fabian along with Fr Gaspar Fernández Pérez SCJ, their Novice Master.
