On 15 August, three young men of the Vicariate of Brazil (Region Fr Auguste Etchecopar) will make their final profession.

“Kekereke ti awafango yaka, kekereke ti beafrica”. “Avenir paysan avenir centrafricain”: the future of Central Africa depends on the future of farmers. This was the slogan  of the third edition of the agricultural fair held in Bouar, Central African Republic, Saturday 18 and Sunday, 19 of February, organized and supported by NGOs Mercycorps, that works in the territory and by the Caritas Bouar, whose referent, and organizer is P. Benjamin Gusmeroli, Betharramite Parish Priest  of Fatima in Bouar.

On March  20-21, the communities in the Central African Republic met for  their Lenten retreat in the Convent of the Poor Clares at Bouar.

On Sunday, April 22nd , the Silver Jubilee of the presence of the two Congregations (Betharram and Franciscan Sisters) will be celebrated.

Sunday, April 22th, was the D-day of the 25th anniversary celebrations for the presence of the Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Betharram in Niem, a village in northern Central African Republic.

11th January – The two General councillors (Fr Laurent Bacho and Fr Tobia Sosio) and the Regional superiors (Fr Jean-Luc Morin and Fr Gustavo Agin; Fr Austin Hughes, held back in England for family reasons  will join the Council on January 13) have just arrived in Rome to begin the first Council of the Congregation after the General chapter held in Bethlehem in 2011.

On January 12th, the members of the Council of the Congregation paid a visit to the Prefect of the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, the newly appointed Cardinal H.E.Mgr João Bráz de Aviz and to the Secretary of the same Congregation, Mgr Joseph William Tobin.

On September 3rd, at St Bernard's parish of Adiapodoumé, Br. Christian was ordained a priest by the laying on of hands of Mgr. Bruno Yedoh, Bishop of Bondoukou.
