The Superior General, Fr Gustavo Agín scj, is continuing his canonical visit to the Vicariate of France-Spain.

10 May - The community of Olton Friary had the honour and the joy of welcoming Fr. Gustavo Agìn, Superior General, during four weeks. The stated purpose of his stay was to deepen his knowledge of the English language, which is an important element for permanent formation in an international congregation.

During the Eucharistic celebration on Sunday, July 24 at the Shrine of Notre-Dame in Betharram, Fr Gustavo Agín SCJ, Superior General, instituted acolytes of our brothers Aurélien Kouamé SCJ and Solomon Bandama SCJ.

On November 18, in Lambaré (Vicariate of Paraguay), the members of the FVD Group participated in a meeting with Fr. Gustavo Agín scj, Superior General, at the House of Spirituality "Our Lady of Betharram".

October 25 - Fr. Gustavo's visit to the community of Olton was carried out in two stages. On Sunday, October 16, during the Sunday masses, after the proclamation of the Gospel, he shared some aspects of the Betharramite spirituality and thanked the parish community for the material and spiritual support offered to the SCJ fathers and brothers.

On July 11, Br. Jean Paul Ayo Kissi scj was ordained as apriest during a solemn celebration that took place in the Cathedral of Yopougon (Ivory Coast).

On May 16, Monday after Pentecost, Fr Laurent Bacho, scj, "Missionary of Mercy", was invited to lead a pilgrimage in the Parish "St. Michael Garicoïts” at Cambo (France).

On May 22, in the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima, Vallioor, Mons Yvon Ambrose, Bishop of Tuticorin, ordained Fr Livin SCJ. as a priest.

On June 22 Br Marcelo Rodrigues da Silva (Fr Augusto Etchecopar Region - Vicariate of Brazil) was ordained as a priest at St. Rose of Serra (MG-Brazil).

Thursday, 19 September, at 10 p.m, the Lord called to himself Father Omer Koutouan, 35 years old.
