October 25 - Fr. Gustavo's visit to the community of Olton was carried out in two stages. On Sunday, October 16, during the Sunday masses, after the proclamation of the Gospel, he shared some aspects of the Betharramite spirituality and thanked the parish community for the material and spiritual support offered to the SCJ fathers and brothers.

On June 22 Br Marcelo Rodrigues da Silva (Fr Augusto Etchecopar Region - Vicariate of Brazil) was ordained as a priest at St. Rose of Serra (MG-Brazil).

Thursday, 19 September, at 10 p.m, the Lord called to himself Father Omer Koutouan, 35 years old.

On 28th of May 2021, English Vicariate gathered together to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Fr Phairote SCJ at Sacred Heart community at Olton. The celebration began with Evening Prayer led by Br Gerard SCJ and it brought us together to pray for Fr Peter and his new ministry at Chiangmai our Mother House in Thailand. Various prayerful Intentions such as needs of the world , needs of our congregation were prayed.

Mangalore, July 03: Rev. Fr. Stervin Fernando scj, formally assumed charge as the new Superior of Betharram Seminary at Mary Hill on a Solemn Eucharistic celebration of the Feast of St. Thomas at the Seminary chapel on Friday evening. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Biju Alappat scj, the Vicar Superior and concelebrated by the new community priests.

October 3 2019 will go down in the annals of the Olton Friary parish and religious community for the solemn celebration of the 90th birthday of Fr. Ted Simpson, scj.

On July 18, Br. Vincent de Paul Worou scj was ordained as a priest during a solemn celebration that took place in the Cathedral of Cotonou (Bénin).
