On 15 August, the community of Shobhana Shaakha in Bangalore celebrated the Assumption of our Blessed Mother, Independence Day of India and the conclusion of the Canonical Year of the Novitiate of Brother Prapas from Thailand, Brothers Peter, Joseph & Thang from Vietnam.

On 6 March the community of the formation house of Adiapodoumé held a day of recollection during this time of Lent.

Saturday 12 September, in the presence of the Superior General, Fr. Eduardo Gustavo Agín SCJ, Br. Yao Christian Arnaud and Br. Kadjo N'Dah Arnaud, pronounced their definitive "Here I am" following Christ annihilated and obedient in the Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Betharram.

On Saturday 9 April, the eve of the beginning of Holy Week, the board, the administrative staff and the teachers of all levels of the Betharramite College "San José" in Asunción (Paraguay), entered the mystery of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus by participating in the Way of the Cross, as a preparation for Holy Days.

On February 2, the Church celebrated the Feast of the "Presentation of Jesus in the Temple” and the 25th World Day of Consecrated Life. The Bishop of the Diocese of Bouar, Mgr Mirosław Gucwa, celebrated the event with the religious of the Diocese in the convent of the Sisters of St Clare. The religious of the Betharramite communities present in Bouar also joined in this celebration.
