Paulinia August 16, 2014 - In a solemn ceremony held in the Parish “Our Lady of the Beautiful Branch” at Paulinia (Brazil) Br Davi da Silva Lara SCJ was ordained a priest.

On March 24th, on the 38th anniversary of the martyrdom of Mgr Romero, Archbishop of El Salvador, Dr. Pilar Silveira, parishioner of Paso de los Toros (parish entrusted to our Congregation), gave an emotional speech about the figure and the writings of this Archbishop who died as a Martyr, and who will be canonized soon.

19 January 2014 - This morning Mrs Augusta Pozzi, 77 years old, mother of Fr Emilio Manzolini scj and sister of Br Giuseppe Pozzi scj who died 2 weeks ago, died after a long illness.

On September 28 and October 10-11, some religious of the Vicariate of Thailand organised a gathering of Betharramite alumni.

Today, 13 October, in the afternoon, Fr Ermanno Rasero scj, has died due to a cardiac arrest. He has joined the Betharramites in Heaven. Because of his poor health, he has spent the last years of his life in a nursing home, at Solbiate (Como), with two Betharramite religious.

With a solemn concelebration on the evening of October 5, the 50th anniversary of the educational activity of the Apostolic College San José in Asunción (Paraguay) was celebrated.
