The Bishops Conference of  the Northern Region of Africa (CERNA) chaired  by Mons Vincent Landel,SCJ met in Algiers from January 29th  to February 2nd .

From 6 to 11 August, 7 young people (two Ivorian novices, one French girl and four Italian young people) accompanied by Fr. Gérard Zugarramourdi scj (Superior of the residence of Mendelu, Spain), Fr. Habib Yelouwassi scj (community "Notre Dame" of Betharram, France) and Fr. Simone Panzeri scj (community of Pistoia, Italy), walked about 115 km from Betharram to Ibarre.

Thursday, March 27, the Superior General Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez SCJ, who arrived in Zarqa on Wednesday, March 26th for a visit and for the Assembly of the Vicariate of the Holy Land, had the opportunity to attend in the  evening a fund-raising event held by the parish in favor of the poor.

On April 21 at the residence of the community of Rome, Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, a meeting was held to present the figure of Fr. Auguste Etchécopar.

On the evening of July 18, the Betharramite young brothers attending the international session met with the youth of the "FVD" group from Paraguay.

During the short break after the first semester (first week of September), the Betharram community in Bangalore arranged some events to strengthen the formation of the brothers.

In the month of January, a series of events took place in Hojai. Emilia, an Italian lady who is a lay companion of Betharram, has come to Hojai to render her valuable service in our community.
