Betharram, 9 July - The Vicariate of France-Spain welcomed the Superior General, Fr Gustavo Agín SCJ, who arrived in France on 4 July to begin the canonical visit to the communities of the Vicariate.

On March 17, at the age of 83 years, Mr. Gianni Borghetti, brother of Fr Livio Borghetti SCJ, of the community of Rho, Vicariate of Italy, died in Rho (Milan).

On March 1st, at the age of 94 years, in Scuol (Switzerland), Mrs. Ines Trameri died. She was sister of Fr Albino Trameri SCJ, of the community of Albavilla (Vicariate of Italy).

On 25 June, Fr Andrea Antonini scj, of the community of Albiate,the eldest of the Betharramite religious in the Vicariate of Italy, celebrated the 70th anniversary of his priestly ordination.
