February, 5 - At the Friary, Olton Solihull, a Flower Festival was held from Friday the 5 February through to Sunday evening the 7 February. The event was for the closing of the Year of Consecrated Life and the start of the Holy Year of Mercy. The celebrations were a great success thanks the organisation of the Parish Flower Team, the sponsors, local schools and other groups.

Fr Wilfrd has just sent in this news. On 26th of February 2015, I had been privileged to attend a ‘Year 4 school assembly’ at St. Thomas More Primary School at Sheldon, Birmingham.

The SCJ annual sponsored walk took place Saturday 29th of September by the canals which is not far from Olton Friary.

September 24 - Our SCJ Companions held a meeting at Ss John and Martins B'ham.

All the priests & brothers of our England communities were on retreat from 7 to 11 October at Nympsfield the centre run by the Marist Sisters near Stroud.
