Friday, June 28, on the occasion of the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the community of Adiapodoumé, gave thanks to God for the blessings received over this community, pastoral and academic year.

On June 28, in the Cathedral of the “Sacred Heart” of Chiang Mai (Thailand), two young Betharramites were ordained priests in a solemn celebration presided by the Bishop of the Diocese, Mgr Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana: Br. Andrew Manop Kaengkhiao SCJ and Br. Stephen Banjerd Chuensuklerttaweekul SCJ, along with other deacons: one from the Diocese of Chiang Mai; two from the Jesuit Congregation and one from the Congregation of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate.

On Monday 26 October the community of Pibrac experienced a moment of meditation at the Abbey of Notre-Dame du Désert... This abbey of Trappist monks (reduced to seven elderly religious and now sent to different part of the world, France, Peru and Norway), was closed down 3 October and has now become the "Village of Francis".

After traveling among the various Vicariates of the Region, Fr. Gustavo Agín scj, Superior General, visited the community of San Juan Bautista, in Buenos Aires and met with some lay people representing the different groups involved in the different institutions of the Vicariate.
