On February 18, memorial of Saint Bernadette, Mons Marc Aillet, Bishop od the Diocese of Bayonne, along with three of his priests and 18 seminarians, paid a visit to the Religious of Betharram in Rome.

On 21 January, Fr. Mathew Phanupan SCJ, ordained priest last June during the General Chapter, paid a visit to the study house of Sampran.

The heaven is rejoicing and the earth is praising, the reason is the Sacred Heart Vicariate is blessed to have two new priests Fr. Shamon and Fr. Reegan.

Sunday 9 December - The religious and the laity of the Italian Vicariate met at Colico (Como) to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the presence of the Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Betharram at the seminary of “Santa Teresa del Bambino Gesù”, which would then become the “Collegio del Sacro Cuore”.

On July 28, in the ancient shrine there was a festive atmosphere on the occasion of the solemnity of Our Lady of Betharram.

Wednesday, November 26, about thirty Italian religious held the Vicariate Assembly at the betharramite residence of Albiate, guided by the Regional Superior, Fr Jean Luc Morin SCJ and the Regional Vicar for Italy, Fr Aldo Nespoli SCJ.
