On Saturday, September 28th, the parishioners of Fang witnessed a memorable event in the history of the Parish of the Epiphany, founded 46 years ago by the PIME Fathers: in the presence of Mgr Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana, Bishop of Chiang Mai, the PIME fathers, after running it for 46 years, “handed it over” to the religious of Betharram: with a symbolic gesture, Fr. Maurizio Airoldi, superior of the PIME in Thailand entrusted this parish to Fr John Chan Kunu scj, Regional Vicar in Thailand.

Betharram, April 15 - During the morning, Fr. Reegan SCJ led the Way of the Cross for the College students, followed by the adoration of the Cross in the chapel of the resurrection.

On Sunday 26 September the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Niem (Vicariate of Central African Republic) dressed up for the first Mass of the new priest (of the Diocese of Bouar) Abbé Alain Nzapa Ayeke, hailing from Ndongué Ladouane, a village belonging to the parish of Niem and entrusted to the pastoral care of the Congregation.

On Thursday 31st August Betharram welcomes many collaborators who wanted to be present to express their friendship to Fr Jean-Dominique Delgue SCJ, new Vicar General, leaving for Rome, his new destination. Those present were witness to his handover to Fr Laurent Bacho SCJ, new Regional Vicar of France and Spain.

Saturday, March 15 brothers, relatives, friends and staff of the "Maison de retraite" of Betharram celebrated the 104th birthday of Fr Joseph Canton SCJ, dean of the Congregation.

On May 12, in the sports hall of the Colegio San José Asunción, the Vicariate of Paraguay held the closing ceremony of the Jubilee Year in honour of Saint Michael Garicoïts.

August 26 (feast of St. Mary of Jesus Crucified) in the front yard of our house in Bethlehem, a Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated in honor of the two Saints canonized last May by Pope Francis, namely St. Mary of Jesus Crucified and St. Mary Alphonsine Ghattas.

All the Chapter members went out early to meet the members of the Vicariate of Paraguay. We started the day visiting the famous the college "St Michael Garicoïts" built by Fr. Saubatte SCJ for the most disadvantaged children which is next to "St José" college founded by Fr. Tounedou SCJ in 1904, which is the flagship of education in Paraguay. Indeed, it was for the education of young people that Betharram was called to Paraguay.
