Amendments to the Rule of Life

On the afternoon of Thursday 17 February, the community of the Scholasticate of the Fr. Auguste Etchecopar “Sagrado Coração de Jesus” Region gathered to celebrate the Eucharist.

"On Saturday 14 of July we listened with joy and gratitude to the testimony of three brothers of our family who now live in the care home: Br. Théodore Miguel SCJ, Fr. Jean Tapie SCJ and Fr Mirco Trusgnach SCJ.

On their return from Rome, where they were welcomed by the bishops gathered in Rome for the Synod on the family called by Pope Francis on October 5 to 19, the relics of St. Therese of the Infant Jesus and of her parents, Blessed Louis and Zelie Martin, stopped over at Montemurlo in the betharramite Parish.

The Regional Superior of the Region "St. Michael Garicoïts ", Fr. Jean-Luc Morin SCJ, has sent in this message to announce the funeral of Fr. Omer Koutouan scj, who passed away on Thursday, September 19, at the age of 35 years:

On September 28 and October 10-11, some religious of the Vicariate of Thailand organised a gathering of Betharramite alumni.

What is "ERJOBE"? “Encuentro Regional de JOvenes BEtharramitas”: It is a excellent initiative of the young people of the three Vicariates forming the "Father Augustus Etchecopar" Region. They will organise a gathering in Paraguay to share life experiences and faith, to grow, to strengthen the sense of belonging to the Congregation and to deepen the charism of St. Michael Garicoits.

Betharram, Friday, July 24 - For the second year in succession a meeting among "religious and lay people" was held in order to encourage and improve reciprocal knowledge.
