The Republic of Central Africa Vicariate

From August 8th to 13th, in the Betharramite community of Mendelu (Spain), a camp was attended by young people from France, Italy and Ivory Coast. In a climate of true fraternity, young people have been involved in the preparation of next year's camp in Katiola, Ivory Coast.

Today March 19 at 1 am, Fr Jean Laclau scj returned the Father’s House.

Wednesday 10th May 2017 - This morning, the chapter listened to the life of the Betharramite Religious in the Region of "Father Auguste Etchecopar".

On Monday 20 May, the Card. Fernando Filoni, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, visited the Maepon community on the occasion of the celebration of the 350th anniversary of the Apostolic Vicariate of Siam.

From the every corner of the Congregation (England, Argentina, Centre-Africa, Ivory Coast, France, Italy and Paraguay) 24 religious-brothers spent part of the month of September 2013 in the birthplace of their vocation for the simple pleasure of being together in family and of renewing their energies.

Don’t they say everywhere: “Isn’t he a lucky man to be so full of self-confidence! Everything seems easier for him!” What can we say about the man who has confidence in his God? He is jubilant and can lift mountains! “To believe is to have confidence” the Swiss Theologian Karl Barth used to say.
