On December 21st , Br Wagner Aparecido Ferreira, from Brazil, made his final vows in the hands of the Regional Superior, Fr Gustavo Agin, delegate of the Superior General, in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Nova Granada, during the Eucharistic celebration.

On February 6-10, 2012, the Vicariate of Brazil held the Annual Assembly in Passa Quatro.

From May 11th to 14th the S. Miguel middle school in Passa Quatro has lived intensive days of meetings and Betharramite spirituality in order to prepare the solemnity of St. Michael Garicoits.

On October 7, at the College of St. Michael, Passa Quatro (Brazil - MG) there was the first meeting for the presentation and invitation to WYD. With the help of Professor Marciano, one member of each parish community was invited to this meeting. It was attended by 12 people, including brothers Juan Pablo and Jeferson who came from the community of Belo Horizonte, Fr Victor from the community of Sao Paulo Vila Matilde, and Fr Glecimar who belongs to the local community.

The Councillors of the Fr Etchecopar Region have been in office for some months now. The Superior General and his Council appointed Fr Javier Irala, the regional vicar of Paraguay, as “first regional vicar” and Fr Sergio Gouarnalusse as regional treasurer.

On February 19th at Passa-Quatro, the first years of the Betharramite School São Miguel lived their induction day, under the slogan: “Together, we’ll build a school of knowledge and joy”.

The St. Michael Garicoïts feast day gave rise to numerous celebrations, organised by the educational staff of Betharram Brazil.

Today 20th July, at 6.50 a.m.  Father Lino Illini SCJ died in the hospital of Passa Quatro. He had 94 years of age, 74 of Religious Profession and 69 a priesthood.

Sunday, February 3, the Community of the Parish of Saint Sebastian held a thanksgiving celebration for the 42-year mission, in the social and pastoral field,  of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Betharram in the city of Passa Quatro, in the south of Minas Gerais State.

Sunday, July 29 -  The Betharramite religious community and the Parish community of Paulinia (Brazil) solemnly celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of the Beautiful Branch and the centenary of her crowning.
