On May 13, the College San José of La Plata celebrated the feast of St. Michael Garicoïts.

The 1984-1985 Chapter of the Italian Province had called for the opening of a mission ad gentes which would be linked directly to the Province itself; the 1986 Chapter decided to, “consider favorably the request of the Bishop of Bouar asking to establish a Betharramite community in his Diocese.”

Wednesday, May 14th at Betharram the closing of the Jubilee Year in honor of St. Michael Garicoïts was celebrated.

On April 17, in the home for the aged "St. Carlo Borromeo” of Solbiate Comasco (Como, Italy), the new book written by Fr. Luigi Speziale SCJ was released: “The Holy Land of Mary of Nazareth. Here... where everything speaks of her.”

On March 15-17, Fr. Gustavo visited the community of Huay Tong. On this occasion, Fr Gustavo and Fr Enrico could appreciate the missionary activity carried out by the community, and participated in the blessing of a new Church located in the village of Mae Hae. This is the first Church in Thailand dedicated to Our Lady of Betharram and was consecrated by the Bishop of the Diocese of Chiang Mai, Mgr. Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana.
