Priestly Ordinations
On 10 and 12 of January, the Indian Vicariate welcomed with great joy the priestly ordination of two religious.
On January 10, the Deacon Anthony Siluvai SCJ was ordained as a priest at Nellaiyappapuram (Tamil Nadu) by the laying of hands of His Excellency Yvon Ambroise, bishop of Tuticorin.
Two days later, at Manasserry (Kerala), His Excellency Ayhipozhyil, bishop of Allappey ordained as a priest Jacob Biso Puliampally SCJ at Manasserry (Kerala).
On both occasions, the faithful of the native parishes of our two confreres expressed their firm faith and great joy in different events proper to their own tradition and culture.
The family of Betharram rejoiced with Anthony and Jacob in thanking God the Almighty for all His graces granted to the Congregation and especially to the Vicariate of India.
