A blessed day for the Thai Vicariate
18 December 2016 - Good news for our Thai vicariate. A busy day for Betharram Sampran community where the preparation for our 4 brothers to receive the ministry of Reader and Acolyte is going on.
At 5 pm we began with the Eucharistic celebration presided by the bishop emeritus of Chiangmai diocese, H G Joseph Sangval Surasarang. Bros Jacob Thanit Panmanikun and Peter Rawee Poempoonvicha were instituted Readers and Bros. Andrew Monop Kaengkaew and Stephen BanJoerd Chunsuklertthavikul received the Ministry of Acolyte. Bishop Joseph gave a reflection on the successful mission of Betharram in the Chiangmai diocese and urged us to follow in the footsteps of our missionaries. He said that the ordination to priesthood is not the completion but the beginning of our mission and he invited us to constantly pray for our mission and for vocations.
