Monday, July 14 – The Betharramite Religious and Laity of the Fr Etchecopar Region, began their Assembly to prepare the Second Regional Chapter which will be held on July 17-20.

Training on economic management in the communities
From the 16th to the 28th June, Father Graziano Sala, our General Bursar, paid a visit to our three communities in Ivory Coast to see how they are coping with the book keeping software which is common to the whole Congregation and to help the Bursars to make good use of it.

On July 14, in Montevideo (Uruguay), at 3 am Fr Enrique Gavel SCJ, 74-year-old, Betharramite priest from Uruguay, has gone back to the Lord.
Ceremony of presentation of the certificates to the Tshanfeto trainees
On June 28, at Tshanfeto (Adiapodoumé, Côte d'Ivoire), there took place the ceremony of presentation of certificates to 50 members of the 15th course of the trainees. This ceremony, sponsored by the Ministry of Solidarity, Family, Women and Children, was a real success.
Priestly Ordination of five Betharramites in Thailand
Saturday, June 28th, the Vicariate of Thailand has solemnly celebrated the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with the ordination of our Betharramite brothers Tinakorn Martin de Tours, Phithak David, Dominic Athit, Sa-at Albert (Karen) and Nonthaphat Peter, the first "Acka" priest in Thailand.
Spiritual Exercises for the Vicariate of France and Spain
From June 29 to July 5, 26 religious of the Vicariate of France and Spain came together at Betharram for their annual spiritual exercises guided by Fr Guy Sionneau, Provincial Superior of the Passionist religious of France.
